Exporting Your Route

Once your route is ready, you can export it in various formats. This is useful to have an overview on hand during your flight, or to save your data.

The export buttons can be found in the left column, below the aircraft overview.

PDF report

The PDF report is a comprehensive overview of your complete route. It includes:

  • Aircraft information (identifier and location).
  • Maximum payload and total revenue.
  • The complete flight sequence (ICAO codes).
  • Per stop, a table of what you load and unload, including weight and destination/origin.

The report includes OnAirTools branding in the top right and the text "Planned by OnAirTools.com" below it. The file is automatically downloaded to your device.

Receipt

The receipt is a compact version of the route overview, similar to a till receipt. It contains the same route information but in a narrower, concise format — handy for quick reference.

CSV export

The CSV export saves your cargo data as a spreadsheet file. Each item in your route becomes a row with the following columns:

  • Type (cargo or passengers)
  • Description
  • Weight (in lbs)
  • Load location (ICAO)
  • Delivery location (ICAO)
  • Price (in dollars)

You can open this file in Excel, Google Sheets or another spreadsheet application.

CSV import

You can also load a previously exported CSV back into the route planner. Use the Import CSV button. The Replace current route checkbox lets you decide whether the imported cargo replaces the current route or is added to it.

Add your own logo to the PDF

In Settings you can upload your own logo that will be included in exported PDF reports. Useful if you have a recognisable design for your virtual airline.
