What is the Nederlandse Traumahelikopter Simulatie?

The Nederlandse Traumahelikopter Simulatie is a desktop app built specifically for Microsoft Flight Simulator (X, 2020, and 2024). It connects live P2000 emergency dispatches to your simulator, letting you accurately replicate how the real Dutch Lifeliner helicopters operate.

You choose one of the three active Lifeliner bases (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, or Volkel), accept a real or automatically offered dispatch, fly to the scene, care for the patient, and return to base — just like in real life.

The app integrates directly with your simulator via SimConnect, so your flying behaviour (position, altitude, landing rate) is tracked in real time.

Lifeliner 4 not available

The app includes three of the four Dutch Lifeliner bases. Lifeliner 4 in Groningen is not included because this base does not use the P2000 system in a way that can be filtered — real dispatch data for this helicopter is therefore unavailable.

Good to know

The app has two components: the desktop application (the control centre that runs everything) and the EFB web version that you can use inside the HPG H145 cockpit. You don't have to use both at the same time, but together they give you the most complete experience.
