ATC overlay (IVAO / VATSIM)

If you fly online via IVAO or VATSIM, you can use the ATC overlay. It shows all active Dutch ATC stations including callsign, frequency, and type (Approach, Tower, Ground, etc.).

Enable IVAO or VATSIM via Settings. The ATC icon then appears in the navigation bar. Click it to open the overview.

Note

IVAO and VATSIM cannot be active at the same time. Enabling one automatically disables the other.

Filing a flight plan​

Have an online network enabled? A flight plan button will appear on the Lifeliner pages.

  • IVAO — a fully pre-filled flight plan is prepared for you. Registration, aircraft type, and equipment for the selected Lifeliner are filled in automatically.
  • VATSIM — the flight plan page opens where you can complete the plan yourself.
